Compressor kit attachment procedure

(1) (C. 4) Installation of oil pan.

Degrease the attaching surface of the oil
pan and the engine block.

②

Apply liquid gasket on the attaching
surface of the oil pan.

※

Apply the liquid gasket to the inner
side of the boltholes.

※

Use only the liquid gasket specified
by TOYOTA.

③

Use the supplied (C. c) flange bolt M6 X
20 (16 P) to install the (C. 4) oil pan.

※

Appling torque.

＝１０Ｎ・ｍ（１００ｋｇｆ・ｃｍ）

Installation of the transmission cover.
※

Shave the contacting surface of the

transmission cover if it contacts the (C.
4) oil pan.

⑤

Attach the genuine drain bolt to the (C.
4) oil pan.

※

Only use a brand new gasket.

※

The (C. 4) oil pan is made of
aluminum, so be extra care full not
to over tighten the bolts.

※

Wait until the liquid gasket is full
harden before pouring the engine
oil.

※

It will be the cause of oil leakage.
