• Installation
The MPX should be installed in an area, indoors or outdoors, which meets the
following conditions:
• The ambient temperature does not exceed -40 o C to 85 o C (-40 o F to
+185 o F)
• Relative humidity up to 100%
• Pollution Degree 2
• Measurement Category II
• Altitude 2000 meters or less.
• Locate the Probe away from strong magnetic fields, such as those pro-
duced by motors, transformers, solenoid valves, etc.
• The medium is free from metallic substances and other foreign matter.
• No corrosive gases such as NH

, SO
2
, Cl
2
, etc.
• No excessive vibration
• Ample space for maintenance and inspection.
NOTE: Assure proper orientation when installing the float(s) on the stem
(refer to drawing below). Installing the float(s) upsidedown can result in
unstable readings.
