Displaying colors or grays

You can designate how many colors or shades of gray you want
your monitor to display. (How many colors or grays your
computer can display depends on the video capability it has. See
the technical specifications of your computer for more
information.)

You set the number of colors or grays in the Monitors control
panel.

1. Choose Control Panels from the Apple

(

K

)

menu.

2. Open the Monitors control panel.

3. If you have more than one monitor, click the icon of

the monitor you are adjusting.

A dark border appears around the icon to show that it is
selected.

4. Click the Grays or the Colors button.

5. Click the number of colors or grays you want displayed

on the selected monitor (or click Black & White).
