8.1 DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY
(See Attachment 1 for print)
1. Remove indicator and cover bolts (items 16 and 17).
2. Remove indicator and cover (items 4 and 3).
3. Using a punch drive roll pin in worm out of the bottom about ¼” turn shaft
180
° to reveal pin and remove with pliers.
4. Remove shaft from worm (item 6).
5. Remove worm and thrust bearing assemblies being sure to keep them
together for reassembly (items 5, 11, 12, 13).
6. Remove quad and inspect o-rings (items 2 and 8).
7. If o-rings are okay, reinstall on quad with a little grease.
8. Follow this procedure in reverse to reassemble.

If spare parts or information are required, please state the model size, serial
number and quantity of units. This model size and the serial number are
available on the nameplate fitted to the worm box cover.
