Introduction

Turning the hand wheel oper-
ates the valve via a drive
shaft. Three indicator lights,
RED, YELLOW, and GREEN,
provide a positive visual indi-
cation of the valve ball posi-
tion, OPEN (green), CLOSED
(red), or IN BETWEEN (yel-
low).
Available only on 1-½”
(38mm) through 3” (76mm)
valves.
Remote Electric Gear Motor Driven Operator Option
(See Figure 2-6: “Electric Gear Driven Operator Option.”)
An electric motor and gearbox assem-
bly are mounted on the valve body and
controlled from an operator panel
switch. Three indicator lights, RED,
YELLOW, and GREEN, provide a posi-
tive visual indication of the valve ball
position, OPEN (green), CLOSED (red),
or IN BETWEEN (yellow). Also see Fig-
ure 2-8: “Electric Controllers” on page
14.
Available only on 2-½” (64mm) through
4” (102mm) valves.
Electric Motor Driven Operator Option
(See Figure 2-7: “Electric Motor Driven
Operator Option.”)
An electric actuator is mounted on the
valve body and controlled from an opera-
tor panel switch.
Three indicator lights, RED, YELLOW,
and GREEN, provide visual representa-
tion of the valve’s position, OPEN
(green), CLOSED (red), or IN BETWEEN
(yellow). Also see Figure 2-8: “Electric
Controllers” on page 14.
