Inserting an xD picture card
Removing an xD picture card
To remove an xD picture card, follow the steps below.
1. Right click (right button of the Touch Pad) on the xD picture card driver’s
icon and select Eject from the pop-up menu.
2. Push in the xD picture card and release it to pop the xD picture card out
slightly.
3. Grasp the xD picture card and pull it out.
Memory card care
1. Memory cards are consumable items, so make sure you back up
important data.
2. Do not twist or bend memory cards.
3. Do not expose memory cards to liquids or store in humid areas or lay
media close to containers of liquid.
4. Do not touch the metal part of a memory card or expose it to liquids or
let it get dirty.
5. After using memory card, return it to its case.

Make sure the indicator is out before you remove the xD picture card or
turn off the computer’s power. If you remove the xD picture card or turn off
the power while the computer is accessing the xD picture card, you may
lose data or damage the xD picture card
