Filter Settings tab

When you click a [Detail] button (the condition number data button for the data you want to
display) while the Filter Settings tab is active, the screen shown below is displayed.

Configure Alerts screen (Filter Settings - Detail)

Item Explanation
-Logfile-

Displays the log file name.

-Event Type-

Displays the event type(s). Multiple event types are possible; they
are delimited with a slash “/”.

-Event Source-

Displays the source name(s).

-Event ID-

Displays the event ID(s).

-Description

Keyword-

Displays the description keyword.

-Data Filter Bytes

(hex)-

Displays the data filter bytes in hexadecimal.

-Data Filter Offset

(dec)-

Displays the data filter offset in decimal.

-Event Merging

Interval (sec)-

Displays the “Event Merging Interval” in seconds.

FILTER ITEM

EXPLANATION

Description Keyword

If this keyword is contained in the description of the event log,
the event is found.

Data Filter Bytes

If this Data Filter Bytes is contained in the data of the event log,
the event is found.

Data Filter Offset

You can specify it, if you specify the Data Filter Bytes. For
example, “3” is specifyed. If it matches the data started the
3rd of the data, the event is found.

Event Merging Interval

When many same events occurred within a certain interval, only
the first event is notified. And the others are not notified until the
interval is over.
