Connect the AC cable to the AC
adapter and the AC adapter to the
household power supply outlet.
Recharging the battery

Inserting the battery
Use one Olympus lithium ion battery (LI-50B).
Other batteries are not supported.

Slide the lock switch to [OPEN] to
open the battery cover.

Insert the battery.

Close the battery cover.
• After closing the battery cover, slide
the lock switch to [LOCK].

Connect the USB cable to the USB
terminal of the AC adapter.

Connect the USB cable to the USB
terminal of the recorder.
• The PEAK display lamp (R) lights up in
orange and recharging starts.
• Insert the battery so that the direction
of the arrow (label) on the recorder
matches the direction of the arrow on
the battery.
