2.1 Glossary of Terminology and Concepts
When a device has as many features as the SP1600/SP1800, understanding its operation could be a
daunting task at first. By understanding the key concepts and terminology used in this manual, the
operation of the SP1600/SP1800 will become quite intuitive. Every effort has been made to design the
SP1600/SP1800 with a consistent and intuitive user interface.
To facilitate and enhance your understanding of the SP1600/SP1800’s operation, please take the time to

Parts of the Pump:
1) End Plate
2) Plunger Flange Retainer Knobs (2).
Tightens or loosens Plunger Flange
