6.2 Connecting Several Independent VS-812 Units to a PC

This section describes preparing the RS-232 connectors (see section

Connecting via RS-232 Using a PC

To connect a PC to an independent

• Connect the RS-232 9-pin D-sub rear panel port on the VS-812 unit to the

Null-modem adapter and connect the Null-modem adapter with a 9-wire
flat cable to the RS-232 9-pin D-sub port on your PC
