Connecting via RS-232 Using a PC
To connect a PC to an independent
• Connect the RS-232 9-pin D-sub rear panel port on the VS-812 unit to the
Null-modem adapter and connect the Null-modem adapter with a 9-wire
flat cable to the RS-232 9-pin D-sub port on your PC

adapter provided with the machine (recommended):
To connect a PC to an independent
Null-modem adapter:
• Connect the RS-232 9-pin D-sub port on your PC to the RS-232 9-pin
D-sub rear panel port on the VS-812 unit, as
on whether the PC has a 9-pin or 25-pin connector)
