2. Use the case-sensitive
User Name
and
Password
for either an
Administrator or a Device Manager User to log on.
– For Administrator,
apc
is the default for
User Name
and
Password
.
– For Device Manager,
device
is the default for
User Name
, and
apc
is the default for
Password
.
3. Use the
get
command to transmit the text version of the Event Log to
your local drive.
ftp>get event.txt
or
ftp>get data.txt
4. You can use the
del
command to clear the contents of the Event or
Data Log.
ftp>del event.txt
or
ftp>del data.txt
You will not be asked to confirm the deletion.
– If you clear the Data Log, a Deleted Log event will be recorded in the
Event Log.
– If you clear te Event Log, a new event.txt file will be created to
record the Deleted Log event
5. Type quit at the ftp> prompt to exit from FTP.
