Locking your CLIÉ handheld with a password (Data protection)
Setting your CLIÉ handheld to be locked automatically
You can set a time for your CLIÉ handheld to be locked automatically.

Follow steps 1 to 4 of “Turning off your CLIÉ handheld after
locking” on page 205.

Tap [Never].
The Password dialog box is displayed.

Enter the password and tap [OK].
The Lock Handheld screen is displayed.

Tap your choice from the list on the Lock Handheld screen.
• Never : Your CLIÉ handheld is not locked automatically.
• On power off : Your CLIÉ handheld is locked when it is turned off.
• At a preset time : Sets a time for your CLIÉ handheld to be locked
automatically.
• After a preset delay : Sets a time for your CLIÉ handheld to be
locked automatically if it is inactive for a preset time interval.

Tap [OK].
