When you access the Internet via a Bluetooth
®
compatible mobile phone, you
need to follow this procedure to pair the device with your CLIÉ handheld.

What is pairing?
To enable Bluetooth
®
communication between your CLIÉ handheld and
Bluetooth
®
compatible mobile phone, they must be identified. A common Passkey
is used to pair them. This process is referred to as pairing and is necessary to prevent
access from unauthorized Bluetooth
®
compatible devices.
1 Setting the connection method/Performing pairing
You need to set the communication method and perform pairing for
Bluetooth
®
communications.

Tap (Home).
Tap [Applica…] when using CLIE Organizer .

Tap (Prefs).
The Preferences screen is displayed.

Tap V at the top right of the screen, and select [Connection].
The list for [Available Connections:] is displayed.
