Problem: There is a problem with the telephone service.
Solution: Check the following:
ˆ Swap out the cable for a known good cable.
ˆ For POTS phones and fax machines, verify that the dial mode for the telephone and fax are correct,
according to the manual that was supplied with the telephone or fax.
ˆ Check the telephone or fax machine for problems.
