Security Update Service
Update the security policy on your phone to increase
protection.
1. From the Home screen, touch Apps ➔
Settings ➔ ➔ Security for options:
• Security Policy Updates options:
– Automatic updates: Updates the security policy when
connected to preferred networks.
– Preferred networks: Choose your preferred network
type.
– Check for updates: Manually check for security policy
updates.
• Send security reports: Sends security reports to
Samsung via Wi-Fi for threat analysis.
Credential Storage
You can install credentials from an optional installed memory
card (not included), and use the Credential storage settings
to allow applications to access the security certificates and
other credentials.
1. From the Home screen, touch Apps ➔
Settings ➔ .
2. Touch Security.
3. Touch Storage type to choose where credentials are
stored.
4. Touch Trusted credentials to view installed
certificates.
5. Touch Install from device storage and choose a
certificate and follow the prompts to install.
6. Touch Clear credentials and follow the prompts to
clear stored credentials and reset the password.
