Extended Home Screen
The Home screen consists of the Home panel, plus 4 panels that
extend beyond the display width to provide more space for
adding shortcuts, widgets and folders.
Slide your finger horizontally across the screen to scroll to the left
or right side panels. As you scroll, the indicator dots at the
bottom of the display shows your current position.
Customizing the Home Screen Panels
Customize the Home screen to suit your preferences.
• Add Widgets: For more information, refer to “Adding Widgets to a
Home Screen panel” on page 20.
• Add Shortcuts: For more information, refer to “Adding Shortcuts to
a Home Screen panel” on page 21.
• Add Folders: For more information, refer to “Adding Folders to a
Home Screen panel” on page 22.
• Change the Wallpaper: For more information, refer to “Changing the
Wallpaper on a Home Screen panel” on page 23.
Adding Widgets to a Home Screen panel
Widgets are self-contained applications that you can place on the
Home screen to access favorite features.
1. Navigate to the desired Home screen, then touch and hold
on the screen to display the Add to Home screen menu.
2. Touch Widgets, then touch a selection to add it to the Home
screen.
Widgets
Amazon MP3: Displays the Amazon MP3 application
where you can buy and play music.
Analog clock: Displays an analog clock.
Calendar: Record events and appointments to manage
your schedule.
Facebook: Enables you to go directly to your Facebook
account without accessing it through your web browser.
