Radio stations cannot be tuned.
÷ Connect the antennas properly as described in "Connecting the antennas". (See
page 6.)
÷ Select the appropriate radio band as described in "Receiving radio broadcast-
ing". (See page 23.)
÷ Tune the frequency of the desired radio station as described in "Receiving radio
broadcasting". (See page 23.)
Noise interferes with reception.
÷ Install the outdoor antenna away from the road.
÷ Switch off the nearby electrical appliances.
÷ Install the system away from a TV or PC.
A preset station cannot be received by
pressing the P.CALL key.
÷ The frequency of the preset system cannot be received with the system.
÷ Select the [TUNER] input.

[CD No Text]
÷ The CD does not contain the CD-TEXT information.
[CD PGM mode]
÷ Random playback is attempted in the program play mode.
[Check Disc]
÷ The TOC data* of the CD cannot be read.
÷ The disc is not loaded properly.
[Non-PCM]
÷ A signal other than a PCM signal is applied to the [DIGITAL (OPTICAL) IN 1] or
[DIGITAL (COAXIAL) IN 2] connector on the rear panel.
[Unlock]
÷ The component connected to the [DIGITAL (OPTICAL) IN 1] or [DIGITAL (COAXIAL) IN 2]
connector on the rear panel is not switched ON or no signal is input from the com-
ponent.
[– – – kHz]
÷ The sampling signal used with the PCM signal being input is not compatible with
this system.
* The CD records information called TOC (Table Of Contents) in addition to music data. Like the table of contents of a book, the TOC
data includes data that cannot be rewritten, such as the number of tracks, their play time and other character information.
