GENERAL INFORMATION
This chapter provides general notes for the manual and WMT701,
WMT702, and WMT703.
About This Manual
This manual contains instructions for upgrading to Vaisala WINDCAP ®
Ultrasonic Wind Sensor series WMT700 and using analog output and
serial communication in a system configured for WS425.

This manual consists of the following chapters:
- Chapter 1, General Information, provides general notes for the manual
and WMT701, WMT702, and WMT703.
- Chapter 2, Introduction, provides general information on upgrading
from WS425 to WMT700 wind sensor series.
- Chapter 3, Retrofit Installation, describes the retrofit installation
procedure for WMT700.
