An optional parameter used to specify delimited output data. There is no space between
d and the delimiter character.
–L
An optional parameter used to specify labeled and delimited output data.
–hr
An optional parameter used to request the data in a human-readable format.
–ms
The address of a management station in the form
–auth
A username and password pair in the form username:password.
The array serial number.
–st
–et
–file
The filename of where to send the data that is retrieved. (If the file exists, the data
is appended.)
–dver
Displays the version. The 010500, 010600, 016000, and 020000 versions are
currently supported. The 010500 version is the default. The XP12000 must use –dver
020000.
You must enter 020000 to display the Ext-Lun information.
This creates the following output files:
ldev_
dkc_
port_
–resp
The option to display information.
read – for ldev read response time
write – for ldev write response time
all – for ldev read and write response time
Can be used only with the –dver option, and the -dver must be 016000 or 020000.
–rgutil
The option to display the RAID Group utilization. The -dver must be 016000 or
020000. This option can be used with the resp option.
–jnl
The option to display all the LDEVs that belong to a journal.
–?
Prints the usage statement.
Exporting the data
To export the data, complete the following steps:
1.
Ensure that the CLUI is installed and set up as described in the CLUI installation documentation,
which is located in the Tools folder on the product CD.
2.
After the CLUI is installed, enter the following command
at the command prompt in the working directory:
Exportdb st MM.DD.YYYY hh:mm:ss -et MM.DD.YYYY hh:mm:ss
file myfilename.txt -dkc Exportdb st MM.DD.YYYY hh:mm:ss -et MM.DD.YYYY
hh:mm:ss file myfilename.txt -dkc
where:
Exportdb
The command.
–st
The date and time to begin the export.
–et
The last date and time to include in the export.
–file
The full path to the file to which the data is to be exported.
–dkc <#>
The serial number of the specific disk controller from which you want to export data.
–dver
The version number of the output type. This is an optional switch. The current acceptable values
for this switch are 010500, 010600, 016000, and 020000. The default is 010500.
