Open the command prompt (DOS prompt in Windows), and run the appropriate install script
(install.bat for Windows, install.sh for UNIX variants).
Installing PA XP CLUI on the Windows operating system is different from installing PA XP on the UNIX
operating system.
For UNIX variants:

Run the install.sh file. You may have to set the install.sh file as an executable. To do this, enter
chmod 755 install.sh in the command line. You must be a supersuer to execute this file.
2.
The script informs you what is about to be done, and asks if you want to continue. Press Y for
yes, or N for no.

4.
The install script asks if SSL is installed and configured on the management station’s web server.
Enter Y for yes to use SSL (HTTPS). Enter N to not use the HTTP. N is the default. Entering anything

Post installation
To use the shell scripts, you must either change the directory to the location of the shell scripts (usually in a
CLUI directory in the install directory), or add that location to your path and enter the name of the script.
Calling the script with a -? prints the usage statement.
NOTE:
The UNIX-based system users must place quotation marks ("") around the question mark (?), because in some
shells, the question mark (?) is used as a wild card. Further, in UNIX, when specifying Windows device files,
it is necessary to place quotation marks around # to avoid commenting out the rest of the line.
To uninstall the CLUI, change to the installation directory and invoke the uninstall script, as follows:
uninstallclui.sh for UNIX platforms; uninstall.bat for Windows
