NOTE:
The Storage Administrator Portal enables you to configure arrays and
management servers managed by the Storage Module for vCenter. For arrays that support
provisioning, use the Storage Administrator Portal to assign access permissions to storage
pools.

To add HP 3PAR StoreServ, click Add....

Select HP 3PAR StoreServ from Type, and click Next. The Add HP 3PAR StoreServ page
appears.
i.
To add an HP 3PAR StoreServ, enter the following details:
•
Management Server—Host name or IP address of the management server.
•
User Name—User name
NOTE:
You cannot enter root as the user name.

Password—Password
ii.
Click Next. The HP 3PAR StoreServ certificate appears.
NOTE:
•
If you do not validate and accept the certificate, connection to HP 3PAR StoreServ
is denied.
iii. Click Next to accept the certificate.
iv.
The Management Server and Storage System details of HP 3PAR StoreServ are
displayed.
v.
Select the appropriate access levels for each storage pool.
NOTE:
To enable the provisioning operations, provide full access to all the Storage
pools.
vi.
Click Finish to add HP 3PAR StoreServ with access to the Storage pools.
vii. To reload the HP 3PAR StoreServ information, navigate to the HP 3PAR Recovery
Manager list, and click Reconnect Unconnected StoreServs on the upper right corner.
NOTE:
Perform the above-mentioned steps to add a new StoreServ that is not on the
list. If the StoreServ list is not properly updated, this might be caused due the cache
building delay the background. You can log off, and then log in to the Web Client again.

The Summary tab lists the detailed information about the selected system:
