To start and stop the OmniBook
You can easily start and stop your OmniBook using the
blue power button.
However, you may want to take advantage of the power modes, which provide
alternative methods for stopping your OmniBook—depending on power
considerations, types of active connections, or start-up time.

Turns off only the display.
Restarts quickly.
Restores previous session.
Maintains network connections.
Press Fn+S

Saves significant power.
Turns off the display.
Saves current session to RAM.
Restarts quickly.
Restores previous session.
May restore network connections.*
Press blue power button

close the lid

select Start, Suspend**

allow
time-out.
Press the blue power
button to display your
current session
("Instant-On").
Hibernate mode
Saves maximum power.
Saves current session to disk, then
shuts down.
Restores previous session.

Off mode
Saves maximum power.
Turns off without saving current
session.
Unsaved data will be lost.
At startup, resets everything, starts a
