13.

In the SQL tools: row, select SQL/MX or SQL/MP if the project source will contain SQL
statements. This results in SQL-specific tools being added to the tool chain for the project.

14.

If you chose the SQL/MX button in step 13, the SQL/MX Preprocessor Locations group box
will be enabled. The fields in the group box specify the location of the SQL/MX preprocessors
for C/C++ and COBOL. If the fields are empty, select Configure locations... to establish their
location.

15.

Select Next > to continue to the Remote Settings page. The settings on this page (shown here
for a NonStop COBOL project) are optional and can also be set after project creation using
the Settings (Remote) project property page.

The Remote Settings page will contain tabs if you selected both TNS/E and TNS/R tool chains
(one for each platform). On this page, you enter the NonStop system where you want the
object built by your project to be deployed, as well as where on the system you want the
object deployed. This page will also contain additional settings for SQL compilation and
preprocessing if you selected SQL/MX or SQL/MP on the previous page.

16.

When you are done with the Remote Settings page, select Next > to continue to the Select
Configurations page (see

Figure 33 (page 77)

). This page shows the build configurations that

will be created by default. You can deselect any build configurations you don't want included
in your project. This page is provided by CDT. See the C/C++ Development User Guide for
more information.
