Cygwin/Msys Page settings
The Cygwin/Msys page lists the bin locations for Cygwin and Mysys.

Description
Setting
Select if tools will be located in a Cygwin bin directory. Enter the
path of the Cygwin bin directory. Select Browse... if tools will be
located in a different bin.
Cygwin bin: field
Select if tools will be located in a Mysys bin directory. Enter the
path of the Mysys bin directory. Select Browse... if tools will be
located in a different bin.
Mysys bin: field
Select to restore the default bin directory location.
Restore defaults... button
Apply all changes and dismiss dialog.
Apply button
Cancel all changes and dismiss dialog.
Cancel button
Transfer Files Wizard
The Transfer Files Wizard preference page lets you change the default settings for the Transfer
Files Wizard. To open it, select the Settings… button to the right of the Telnet/FTP button on the
Network Connections preference page.

Select to have OSS as the default destination platform.

Default location where files will be transferred to.

Group for setting file transfer option preferences.

Overwrite remote files if they already exist.
Overwrite existing remote files check box
Don’t transfer local file unless it has been modified since a previous
transfer.
Transfer only if modified locally since previous
transfer check box
For OSS file transfers only, no directories be created during file
transfer. All files will be written to a single location (even though
they may exist in different directories locally).
Copy all files to OSS destination without creating
subdirectories check box
Create an Obey file that can be passed to Inspect to point Inspect
at the source files transferred from your PC for a debugging session.

Properties
Properties are attributes of projects, directories, and files that enable you to customize various
aspects of builds and development activities. Many property pages available at the project level
are not available for individual source files and directories. For example, you can configure all
build tools at the project level but only compilers at the source file level.
