Media Locks
described later in this section. After the control panel is locked, you must use an unlock
code to enter the Menu mode. The control panel lock prevents access to the Unlock
Door item on the Main menu; therefore, it locks the media as well. See the information
on the Security menu under "Navigating the Main Menu" on page XXXXXXXXXXXX.
The media can be locked by software running on the NonStop Himalaya system, using
the SCSI Allow/Prevent Medium Removal command. The 5257ACL provides no
control panel override for this command. Exiting the Himalaya system, you can restore
media access by cycling 5257ACL power.
