Control Panel
Initialization Screens
After the POST is completed, the library robotics system begins initialization and a
series of screens similar to Figure 6-4 appear.
Default Screen
After the POST diagnostics have concluded successfully, and initialization is complete,
the default screen shown in Figure 6-5 appears.
The first line of the Default Screen shows the status of the DLT drive within the
5257ACL. Possible status conditions are:

No Tape
•
Idle
•
Rewinding
•
Seeking
•
Reading
•
Writing
•
Erasing
•
Cleaning
•
Unloaded
•
Loading
•
Unloading
•
Calibrating
The screen’s second line displays possible status conditions of the library robotics:
