Auto Design
To create partitions with the same number of rows across all partitions
1. Enter the desired number of partitions in the Number of Partitions field
in the Auto Design pane.
2. Enter the sampling rate. The lower the sample rate number is, the
more precise the result will be, and the longer the time required for
calculation will be.
3. Click on Auto Design. The time required to complete partition design
depends on the size of the table and the sample rate. A message box
with this message is displayed.
Note: You may switch to Auto Design mode at any time by clicking on the
Auto Design button. In this mode, you specify the number of partitions
and the sampling rate and dba/m Database Manager will compute the
primary key values when you press the Recompute button.
