Change the Purge Attributes
1.
Type an expiration date in the NoPurgeUntil field.
2.
Click on ClearOnPurge to change the clear-on purge flag.
Save the Catalog
To save changes to a catalog, click on one of the following:
•
Execute. Executes the command immediately.
•
Show. Displays the SQL commands created by dba/m Database
Manager without executing them.
•
Queue. Queues the command to be submitted later in a batch.
Dropping a User Catalog
The Drop Catalog function allows you to delete a user catalog.
To display the Drop Catalog window, click on Catalogs in the Main
window, then click on Drop. The Drop Catalog window is displayed, as
shown in Figure 11-5.
Choose the Catalog
To choose a catalog to drop
1.
From the Catalogs field, double-click on the name of the catalog you
want to drop. The names and types of objects in the selected catalog
are displayed.
2.
Set the cascaded-delete option by clicking on Cascaded Delete.
Note: If the catalog is not empty, the delete command will fail if you do
not specify the cascaded-delete option.
