Mapping State Change Digits to RAID System Components
Each of the 11 digits in the state change field can be mapped to a RAID system
component.
Table 11 lists the digits and their relationship.
The First Digit of the State Change Field
(Overall RAID System)
The first digit in the state change field reports state changes in the overall RAID
system.
Example:

The first digit can have one of two values:
0—Everything is fine.
1—Something has changed state.
