Configuring SNMP on your server
SNMP must be installed on a server before Storage Mirroring Data Migration in order for
the Storage Mirroring Data Migration SNMP components to be added during the Storage
Mirroring Data Migration installation. If SNMP is installed on a server after Storage
Mirroring Data Migration is installed, run a repair install to install the SNMP components.
The Storage Mirroring Data Migration .mib file will need to be loaded into your SNMP
Management Console. Depending on the type of console you are using, this process
might include compiling the .mib file. Reference your SNMP Management Console
documentation for additional information.
