To add a new share, select Shares > New Share and run the Create A Shared Folder Wizard. On
the Folder Path panel, enter the path to the share, being sure to include the file system name.
When you complete the wizard, the new share appears on the Computer Management window.
Deleting SMB shares
To delete an SMB share, select the share on the Computer Management window, right-click, and
select Delete.
Mapping SMB shares
Before mapping a share it is important to understand the following:

By default, a share is made available from all of the file serving nodes in an cluster.
•
A share is always available on all of a file serving node’s network interfaces.
•
An SMB client will map the share from only one file serving node. All network traffic between
the client and the cluster will go via that node.
