On the CIFS Shares panel, click Add or Modify to open the File Shares wizard, where you can
create a new share or modify the selected share. Click Delete to remove the selected share. Click
CIFS Settings to configure global file share settings; see

“Configuring SMB signing ” (page 83)

You can also view SMB shares for a specific file system. Select that file system on the GUI, and
then select CIFS Shares from the lower Navigator.

Use the ibrix_cifs command to add, modify, or delete shares. For detailed information, see

NOTE:

Be sure to use the ibrix_cifs command located in /bin.

The ibrix_cifs command located in /usr/local/bin/init is used internally by StoreAll
software and should not be run directly.

Add an SMB share:

ibrix_cifs -a -f FSNAME -s SHARENAME -p SHAREPATH [-D SHAREDESCRIPTION]

[-S SETTINGLIST] [-A ALLOWCLIENTIPSLIST] [-E DENYCLIENTIPSLIST] [-F
