9. Select Device when asked to "Choose a location to
install Microsoft .NET CF 3.5."
Tap the Install soft key.
Result: A progress bar in the window that displays
shows the installation progress. Another window
displays telling you to restart the Trimble Ranger.

10. Tap Ok to restart the Trimble Ranger and complete
the .NET installation.
11. After the Trimble Ranger restarts, navigate to the
software files on the memory stick. Tap Start >
Programs > File Explorer > Hard Disk on the
Trimble Ranger screen.
Scroll through File Explorer to find the Hard Disk
folder.

12. Locate the IHD software files and double tap
InHome Display Programmer to start the IHD
software installation.
Result: The IHD software installation window opens
and starts the process.
