UPDATING THE
3
PRIME SOFTWARE
The
3
Prime software can be updated by downloading the latest version from the Techne website
www.techne.com
. You will need a USB memory stick on which to save the update.
Note that the update tool requires at least Windows XP SP2 and the Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5
SP1, which, if needed, can be downloaded from:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=AB99342F-5D1A-413D-8319-

• From the website, click on Support followed by
Software Downloads.
• Select the
3
Prime Update and choose the option to
run the file.
• Insert a USB memory stick into the PC and click to
select.
• Click on Prepare the USB memory stick.
This will copy the update to the USB memory stick.
• Turn the
3
Prime off and insert the USB stick into the
front USB port.
• Turn the
3
Prime on and follow the instructions on the
screen.
