2.7 Auto-Cal
Automatic calibration (Auto-Cal) is used to keep the camera image
quality looking good. If automatic calibration is active, the camera will
calibrate when the temperature of the camera changes or the timer is
exceeded. The timer can be adjusted in the number box.
Note: Auto-Cal is not available for change without entering the password using
Advanced from the Help pull down menu. See section 4.1 for more information about
entering the password.
Note: The default time is 300 seconds.
To turn on automatic calibration:
1. Check the box under Auto-Cal.
2. Set the timer for calibration (15-7200)
3. Click Save.
The image will freeze while the camera is calibrating. This freeze is sometimes undesirable, so
automatic calibration may be turned off.
To turn off automatic calibration:
1. Uncheck the box under Auto-Cal.
2. A warning prompt will appear. Click Yes to continue disabling the camera or No to
revert back to enabling auto-cal.
3. Click Save.
