Performing a Diagnostics Test
The Diagnostics test mode displays the output voltage at the X leads (V
x
), the voltage sensed by
the H leads (V
h
), and the X voltage excitation current (I
x
). These values can then be verified
using an external volt meter and ampere meter. The Diagnostic Test mode uses the X1-X2 taps.
To perform a diagnostic test:
a. Start from the “START-UP” menu:
Press the
[4]
key (DIAGNOSTIC).
b. The following screen will be displayed:
Select the maximum output voltage on the X terminals by pressing the corresponding
key (
[1]
–
[4]
).
c. The following screen will be displayed:
Press the
[ENTER]
key to continue.
d. The following screen will be displayed and the V
x
, V
h
, and I
x
values will be continuously
updated for 15 seconds:
You can press the
[PAPER ∧ Contrast]
or
[PAPER ∨ Contrast]
key to increase or
decrease the V
x
voltage, respectively. You can press the
[STOP]
key to end the test
immediately and return to the “START-UP” menu.
The test will automatically end after 15 seconds, and you will be returned to the
“START-UP” menu.
