Bar Graph (Lean Operating Mode):

Once the Lean Operating Mode (LOP or ROP) is entered, an EGT must rise 10°F to activate the
function. Once activated, if and an EGT drops 3°F, a white Peak Marker will be displayed for that
channel. If the EGT for a channel that has reached peak increases 1°F above its current peak, the Peak
Marker will be turned off and the CGR will look for a new peak. False peaks are common.

In the Lean ROP mode, only the first EGT channel to reach peak will display a Peak Marker. In the
LOP mode, every EGT channel that reaches peak will display a Peak Marker.

Bar Graph (EGT Max Limit Line):

The EGT Maximum Limit Line is set in the user “EGT/CHT Bar Graph Setup” screen. Access to this
setting is not available when the CGR is set to “Certified Unit” in the “USB Config & SW Pgm Manager”
screen and the EGT is set as a primary gauge in the “Engine & Bar Graph Setup” screen.

Bar Graph (CHT Max Limit Line):

The limits set for CHT 1 also set the CHT Maximum Limit Line. CHT 1 limits are set in the Function
Configuration” screen.

Annunciators:

The CGR-30P will display annunciators activated by digital input signals routed into a Temp or Resistive
Fuel Level channel on the EDC. An annunciator for landing lights, nav lights, boost pump, door or
canopy latch, deicing, warning indications, chip detect, door seals, bleed air, step status, FADEC out-
puts, ignition status, faults, ATR, switch settings and many more status indications may be displayed on
the CGR-30P.

Date, Local Time and Zulu Time:

When the CGR is off, these functions are kept alive via the CGR's backup battery.

Engine Hours and Tach Time:

Engine Hours signify the time the engine has been operating (RPM above 300). Tach Time is the time the
engine was operated above 1300 RPM. In order to protect from loosing these values values are saved
to Flash Memory at the end of each flight.

Flight Timer:

The Flight Timer automatically starts when the RPM goes above a Start setting and stops when the RPM
goes below a Stop setting. These settings can be found in the “Hour Meters & Flight Timers” screen.

Some Error Messages -

“COM” - If communication is lost with the EDC, after 2 seconds all functions requiring signals from the
EDC will display “COM” for its value.
