arrow keys to blink More, then press

. Use the < > arrow

keys again to navigate to the Cell-Output function.

5. Remove the Calibration Port cover located on the front panel of

the Analysis Unit. (See Figure 6.3). Use a long thin
screwdriver, locate and adjust the sensor output to 1.0 V dc by
turning the right trim screw on the front of the sensor. The
output on the VFD display should read between 1.000–0.900 V
dc, as close to 1.000 as possible.

6. Close the valve to the span gas and open the valve to the zero

gas. Again, adjust the flow to same flow that was used for the
span gas. Adjust the left trim screw on the sensor until the cell
output reads 0 V dc (0.00–0.100) V dc, as close to 0.000 as
possible. Close the zero gas valve.

7. Repeat steps 2-6 and verify that the sensor is operating within

the given limits.

The initial calibration of the sensor is now complete. Only if there is a

significant change in vent pressure will this process need to be repeated.

After sensor calibration, the analyzer must be calibrated using the

95% oxygen as a zero gas and 100% oxygen as the span gas. It is
convenient to proceed with this now since the analyzer is currently set-up
for calibration. Refer to Section 4.4.
