Appendix A. Advanced Host Name Management
If you are using DYNAMIC addressing from your ISP (Internet Service Provider), you will need to register with
our DDNS service.
We recommend that you first determine if you are using dynamic addressing and, if so, register your DVR on
our DDNS website.
You do not need to register with our DDNS service if you were supplied a STATIC IP address from your ISP.
Please check with your ISP if you are unsure of how your IP address is configured.
To join our DDNS service, you will have to provide an ID and Password.
