TOOLS REQUIRED:
Trim Panel Remover, 10mm Socket & Ratchet or
10mm Wrench, Drill (3/32” Drill Bit), Test-probe
1. Open rear passenger side door and fold rear
seat down

. Remove passenger side rear door
threshold plate to locate bolt holding passenger
side seat bolster e .
2. Remove bolster by removing 10mm bolt and
pulling straight up on bolster being careful not to
damage the clips holding it in place f .
3. Locate grey 8 pin tow plug behind bolster it will
be taped to vehicle harness with blue tape g .
Insert the T-Connector harness into the vehicle’s
Tow-Plug harness and lock into place.
4. On passenger side, locate existing ground stud.
Loosen 10mm bolt, place screw eyelet on stud
and re-tighten bolt

5. WARnInG
All connections must be complete for the Trailer
Tow Harness to function properly. Test and
verify installation with a test light or trailer once
installed.
6. Route the 4-Flat through the passenger’s side
trim panel into rear storage compartment and
store there when not in use h .
7. Reinstall the plastic trim panels, threshold,
storage covers, floor covering and other items
removed during installation, being careful not to
pinch or cut the wires.

8. Locate the vehicle’s Passenger Compartment
Fuse Panel located under the hood behind the
windshield washer fill tube. Insert both 7.5 amp
fuses into slot #9 and #11 in the fuse box i .
WARnInG
Overloading circuit can cause fires. DO NOT
exceed lower of vehicle manufacturer rating or:
• Max. stop/turn light: 1 per side (2.1 amps)
• Max. tail lights: (5.6 amps)
