Alarm Connections

Route alarm cable through the bridge interface to the adjacent enclosure as necessary. See enclosed schematic
for alarm connection details.

NOTE: If necessary, configuration changes can be made at the alarm wiring block.

6.5

Battery Temperature Sensor Cables

Battery temperature compensation cables are provided for installation when batteries are installed.

NOTE: Temperature sensor cables should be connected to battery strings in one enclosure only; usually the prime

battery enclosure. This will avoid nuisance alarms.

6.6

Cordex DC Power System Set-up

See enclosed Cordex rectifier and system controller manuals.

6.7

Customer Equipment Installation

7RU is allocated to customer equipment in the battery/customer equipment compartment.

A cable entry boot is provided at the back of the enclosure to provide cable routing access from the
battery/customer equipment compartment up through to the power equipment compartment and out the side
bridge interface opening for external termination.

NOTE: When rear access is not available, connections must be made on customer’s ancillary equipment prior to

mounting on equipment rails.

6.8

Enclosure to Enclosure Battery Cable Installation

See enclosed drawings for interface kit assembly:

x Install vertical bus bar insulating covers (if not present).

x Install DC power interface cables between each enclosure’s bus bar termination points.

x Install VRLA battery fuse and jumper kit for the specific batteries used.

Up to two (2) Te40 battery enclosures may be installed either on the left or right of the Te41 power enclosure.
