Introduction
1.1
Scope of the Manual
This instruction manual explains the features, installation, startup and maintenance of Argus Technologies’
Tempest Te41 Outdoor Power Enclosure System.
Enclosure system specifications may be found in Argus document #029-029-B1.
Operation instructions for the system controller and related modules will be provided within their own manuals.
NOTE: Images contained in this document are for illustrative purposes only and may not exactly match your installation.
Batteries and other accessory equipment, such as HVAC, will each be provided with their own manual.
All manuals to be provided depending on the Te41 system configuration.

Product Overview
The Te41 Outdoor Power Enclosure System is designed to provide +24Vdc or –48Vdc power to base transceiver
station (BTS) radio enclosures as part of a wireless network.
The numerous configurations are designated by part number; for example, 057-102-20-101 for a +24Vdc system
with Argus power or 057-102-20-109 for a -48Vdc system with load center.
A Te41 system typically includes:
x Cordex rectifier shelves
x Cordex system controller
x Provision for 7RU of customer equipment
x Front access integrated DC distribution
x Rectifier alarm / communications cabling for connection to
BTS enclosure.
Options that may be included under top-level system numbering:
x Additional rectifier shelves
x Slide out trays
x Battery trays
x 8-position GMT fuse panel
x DC surge suppression
x External load centers.
