Uploadng a configuraton
The process of uploading your project is essential to successfully
configuring the System 5 IP and creating a GlobalViewer Web
page. You can upload the project to one switcher or controller at
a time or several at once.
N You can configure devices offline, but the device must be
connected to the network for a successful upload.
The Upload Manager appears only after a build has been
successfully performed on at least one device. If errors occur
during the build of any devices, a dialog box appears listing the
errors.

To begin the upload, do the following:

. Click Begin. The Upload Manager monitors the progress
of the upload.
2 . When the upload is finished, click Close.
The configuration should now be successfully uploaded to
the appropriate product(s).
Step 12: Access GlobalVewer
®
After uploading a configuration file to a System 5 IP switcher,
there are three ways to access the GlobalViewer Web page:
Right-click the System 5 IP switcher icon in the
IP Link tree and select Open GlobalViewer ® Webpage .
Open an Internet browser window and type in the
IP address of the System 5 IP.
N You must use Internet Explorer 6.0 or later, with Active X
enabled.
From the Upload Manager window, click the
Test GV System
button.
