Control Software for Windows
The SGS 408 Control Program, which is used by the SGS 408, is compatible with
Windows 95/98/2000, and NT. It provides remote control of various functions
including input selection, picture controls, effects, transitions, and output rates.
If an ECP 1000 event control panel is attached to the SGS 408, refer to the
ECP 1000 User’s Manual for information on running the SGS 408 Control
Program.
Installing the software
The program is contained on a set of 3.5-inch diskettes. To install the program
from the floppy disk to the hard drive, run SETUP.EXE from the floppy disk and
follow the instructions that appear on the screen. The program occupies
approximately 3 MB (megabytes) of hard-drive space.
By default, the Windows installation creates a C:\SGS408 directory, and it will
place two icons (SGS 408 Control Pgm and SGS 408 Help) into a group or folder
named “Extron Electronics”.
