F) RS232 Mode
In RS232 Mode, Parani-MSP100 may communicate with other Bluetooth devices via a RS232
serial cable.
User s can communicate point to multi point communication via Parani-MSP100 with Parani-SD.
In this case, the master is the serial port of the Parani-MSP100 and slaves are the Parani-SD
units.
RS232 Mode works very similar to a 485 multi-drop connection, where the Parani-MSP100 is a
master unit and each Parani-SD will act as the slaves. When data is transmitted to the serial
port of the Parani-MSP100, Parani-MSP100 transmits the same data to each of the Parani-SD
units. If one of the Parani-SD units transmit data, only Parani-MSP100 serial port will receive
that data.
In the RS232 Mode, Parani-MSP100 transmits the serial port data to all of the Parani-SD units
at the same time. Consequently, if some slaves transmit data to Parani-MSP100 at the same
time then serial data to the Parani-MSP100 will be blended together.
