The adjustment of the individual measure-
ment loops TAG1 and TAG3 is the same as
the adjustment of single measurement loops,
see under "7.1 Adjustment with medium“ and
"7.2 Adjustment without medium“. It is also
possible to carry out the adjustment only for
measurement loop TAG3. If you want to ad-
just all three measurement loops, the se-
quence is not important.
Adjustment of the gauge difference
measurement loop (TAG3)
Suspend the sensors to the same level. Note
that a difference of 30 cm (e.g. with weir
control) can correspond to 100 %.
• Make sure the gauge (level) is the same
(difference = 0 %).
• Enter in the menu item "Min-adjust at %“ the
figure "0.0“ (push the "+“ or "-“ key until the
figure "0.0“ flashes, then push the "OK“
key).
• Mark the position of the sensor in the up-
stream water.
• Suspend the sensor 30 cm higher (if 30 cm
should correspond to 100 %). A 30 cm
lower gauge is now simulated.
• Enter in the menu item "Max-adjust at %“
the figure "100.0“ (push the "+“ or "-“ key
until the figure "100.0“ flashes, then push
the "OK“ key).
• Suspend the sensor in the original position.
Note:
You can also suspend the sensor in up-
stream water in a lower position in order to
carry out the max. adjustment.

7.3 Adjustment with linked measure-
ments
Linked measurements are possible with
VEGAMET 515V. For this, two sensors are
connected which carry out one measurement
each (TAG1 and TAG2). VEGAMET 515V
calculate from the two sensor values a third
value, e.g. a gauge difference (TAG3). When
adjusting linked measurements, factors other
than those associated with single measure-
ments will possibly have to be taken into
account.
