Gate A20 Option

This item allows the user to control the Gate A20 by chipset or keyboard controller with setting the option to Fast or Normal.

Typematic Rate Setting

This item allows you to activate or close the "Typematic Rate Setting" function.

Typematic Rate (Chars/Sec)

This item controls the speed at which the system registers auto repeated keystrokes. The options for settings

are: 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 24 and 30.

Typematic Delay (Msec)

This item sets the key press delay time before auto repeat begins.The options for delay rate are: 250, 500, 750 and

1000.

Security Option

This field allows you to set the security level of the system. You can specify to enter password every time the system boots

or only when you enter the setup utility.

APIC Mode

This item allows the user to activate or close the "Advanced Programmable Interrupt Controller". APIC is implemented in the

motherboard and must be supported by the operating system.

Small Logo (EPA) Show

This item allows you to activate or close the "Small Logo (EPA) Show" function.

4.4. Advanced Chipset Feature

DRAM Timing Selectable

This item allows you to set the optimal timings. The system default setting is "By SPD".

CAS Latency Time

This item allows you to set the timing delay in clock cycles before SDRAM starts a read command.

DRAM RAS# to CAS# Delay

This item allows you to set the timing for the transition from RAS (row address strobe) to CAS (column address

strobe) as both rows and columns are separately addressed shortly after the DRAM is refreshed.

DRAM RAS# Precharge

This item allows you to set the DRAM RAS# precharge timing.

Precharge delay (tRAS) This item allows you to adjust memory precharge time.

System Memory Frequency This item allows you to adjust memory frequency to improve performance.

PCI Express Root Port Func

PEG/Onchip VGA Control
This field lets you select PCI-Express graph card when boot display or let BIOS auto detect it. The options are:
Onchip VGA / PEG Port / Auto.
