Chapter 5 LAN Setup
This chapter describes how to configure the LAN using Menu 3 — LAN Setup.
5.1 Introduction
From the main menu, enter 3 to open Menu 3 – LAN Setup.

5.2 LAN Port Filter Setup
This menu allows you to specify the filter sets that you wish to apply to the LAN traffic. You seldom need to filter the
LAN traffic, however, the filter sets may be useful to block certain packets, reduce traffic and prevent security
breaches.

5.3 LAN DHCP
The ExpWave has built-in DHCP server capability that assigns IP addresses and DNS servers to systems that
support DHCP client capability.
