Filter Selection

The 1760--Series offers several filter selections for the
waveform display.

Ensure that the instrument is operating in waveform mode.
Enter the

FILTER

menu (

FLAT

is selected by the factory

preset). Select

LUM

filter. This provides a low-pass-filtered

display of the luminance portion of the signal. See
Figure 2-7.

. This provides a bandpass-filtered display of

the chrominance portion of the signal. See Figure 2-8.

The flat display is superim-

posed on the luminance-filtered display (overlay is selected
by the factory preset). Press the appropriate bezel button
(not the front-panel

button) to select parade. The

flat display is now on the left, followed by the luminance-fil-
tered display.
