Searching Channels
There are several setup feature options for your VCR. The VCR has an
Interactive Guide
that
will take you step-by-step through the setup options for your VCR. For complete operating
information about your VCR, see the VCR userÕs guide.
Setting Up the VCR Using the Interactive Guide
1.
Press
VCR1
to turn on the VCR, audio/video receiver,
TV, and tune the TV to channel 91 (Input 1). This also
sets the remote to control the VCR.

Press
MENU/PROGRAM
on the remote to see the
VCR
MAIN MENU
on the TV screen. Then press

to display
the
SETUP OPTIONS
menu. Press
1
to display the first
screen for the
Interactive Guide
.
3.
Press
1
to
Begin setup
. Just follow the directions on
the screen.

Press
VCR1
to turn on the VCR, audio/video receiver, TV,
and tune the TV to channel 91 (Input 1). This also sets
remote to control the VCR.

Press
MENU/PROGRAM
on the remote to see the
VCR
MAIN MENU
on the TV screen.

Press

to display the
CHANNEL SETUP
menu.

Auto-Search Channels
.
¥ Wait until the channel numbers stop changing. This
takes about one to two minutes. The VCR will then tune
to the lowest channel found. Pressing
CHANNEL up
or
down
on the remote will select only the active channels.
¥ The VCR will automatically select
ANTENNA
or
CABLE
for the
Tuning Mode
feature in the
CHANNEL SETUP
menu. If you need to change the setting manually,
press
1
while in the
CHANNEL SETUP
menu.
